On October 1st at 1PM PDT, I'll be live coding on justin.tv, working on adding a new feature to ReactiveUI, "combined commands" (and other stuff, if I don't run out of time).

Even though the feature is pre-announced, zero of the code is pre-written. This isn't a canned tutorial video, you'll be watching me code everything live, including all of my dumb mistakes.
General RxUI, Rx questions and non-sequiturs are highly encouraged. Not only can you ask questions via chat, you totally should.
What is even this?
Every year, my brother and I go to Penny Arcade Expo:
We play lots of video games, we see what's coming this Christmas for the new consoles, and generally have a good time with friends. This year, I saw on the schedule, Web Video for Gamers: How To Make Your Live Streaming & On Demand Video Content Awesome.
Now, while most of the PAX panels are generally not very exciting to me, this one I was interested in because it involved something I knew only a little about, the live streaming gaming community. In the last few years, this phenomena is exploding, with an entire community at Twitch.tv broadcasting themselves basically just playing video games 24x7. Anything from professional games, complete with announcements and Pro Sport-style animations / scoreboards, to people in their basements with a Webcam and a PC game to play.
It was a great talk, and I learned a ton about the tools of the trade, like XSplit. So, I had an idea: would taking the same style of live gaming and applying it to coding be compelling?
